THE PROJECT Aldar Properties PJSC (Aldar) required design and building services for landlord base-building modification works at Yas Mall. OUR APPOINTMENT Our appointment was to provide a lead consultant that could provide all design disciplines, project and cost management, and site supervision for the works associated with the subdivision of unit modifications in Yas Mall. • Full architectural and MEP lease outline drawings (LOD’s) drawing preparation. • Preparation of the necessary documentation to submit to the relevant statutory authorities (inclusive of approvals related fire line safety, ADM drawing approval and new ADDC meter installations). • Preparation of necessary design documentation to allow the works to be tendered to contractors. • Supervision of site visits for the tendering contractors. • Provision of feedback to tender queries. • Technical review and feedback on the final tender submissions. • Site supervision and management of the contractor undertaking the works on site. • Provision of all necessary close out documentation for the project and enabling the successful handover of the unit along with the required authority approvals. • Management of the defect’s liability period (12 months).
